The government of Republic of Bulgaria pays 250 000 euro to repair famous the Radetsky ship museum. The information was communicated by the Prime Minister at a regular meeting of the Council of Ministers.
The “Kozloduy” video clip was shot during the last edition of the Dunav Ultra Cycling Adventure. The video includes footage of the great monument built in meters from the Danube coast (near Kozloduy) in honor of the work of the Bulgarian poet and national hero Hristo Botev.

On May 2, 2014, three friends and cycle enthusiasts went to the most northwest populated village of Bulgaria Kudelin (Google maps) to start an unusual challenge named Dunav Ultra, since Dunav=Danube in Bulgarian language. Their goal was to overcome nearly 690 km along the Danube River (as close as they can to the northern border of Bulgaria ) to the endpoint – the most northeast populated village of the country Durankulak – near the Black Sea (Google maps). Until that moment, none of these amateur cyclists has ever tried to train on a road bicycle. Nevertheless their goal was to cover the distance in less than …48 hrs.
Experts from Varna and Rousse (Bulgaria) released 150 000 eels on the Danube River near Silistra. The eels were confiscated by Customs Airport Sofia, due to lack of documents – a rescue center from Rousse announced.
The historical fountain built in the Bulgarian village of Kaynardja (Silistra district) entered the Travel Guide *”100 Dunav Ultra Highlights“. At the end of the summer 2018 they participated as a cycle team in the unique 670-km cycle challenge named Dunav Ultra: Teamwork. The challenge took place on the bicycle route along the Danube River in Bulgaria with the same name – Dunav Ultra.
