Dunav Ultra: Via Pontica 2019 – Pre-Registration form is HERE
From today until November 10th, the pre-registration for Dunav Ultra: Via Pontica 2019 (680 km Self Supported Cycling Challenge along Danube to the Black Sea) is available online. The pre-registration is a compliment to the candidates, who follow and await the Dunav Ultra Cycling Challenge with the greatest interest. In fact, by completing the registration Form, you will be allowed to purchase a “Start Package” a week before the official start of the sales.
This option is available given the fact that the organizers will limit the number of the participants up to 100 cyclists.

From the Form it is clear, that the upcoming Dunav Ultra: Via Pontica event will offer personal challenges as to travel by bicycle 680 km along the Danube River to the Black Sea route for up to 48 hours, up to 5 and over 5 days.
It has already been announced that Dunav Ultra, will take place between September 6-12, 2019. The starting point is Vidin and the end point that has to be reach is the Black Sea in the area of the village of Durankulak, Shabla district. The participants will pass through all Danube cities in Bulgaria: Vidin, Lom, Kozloduy, Oryahovo, Belene, Svishtov, Ruse, Tutrakan, Silistra incl. Dobrich and the town of Gen. Toshevo .
The Dunav Ultra event is not a race, which means that more advanced cycling enthusiasts as well as beginners looking for personal challenges can join the adventure.
For the first time, participants in the Dunav Ultra Challenge will receive the Dunav Ultra Cycling Passport. The passport will guide the bikers through information centers or local top attractions – specially selected by the Dunav Ultra team. The event will offer the inclusion of up to 10 attractive checkpoints – local attractions and historical sites.
Given the interest in the Dunav Ultra Challenge, the municipalities of Vidin, Belene, Rousse and Silistra expressed their readiness to support the event. The inclusion of more municipalities and the traditional colorful participation of Danube and Dobrudja villages is expected.
The price for the Start Package for participation in Dunav Ultra: Via Pontica 2019 is expected to be in the range of 45 to 60 Euro and special quotas for cyclists from Romania and other countries will be available.
