The new selection of the 2020 “The 100 Dunav Ultra Highlights” just begins. The selection presents our annual list of the most interesting sites and places – altogether part of the unique journey along the Danube river banks of Bulgaria and the Dunav Ultra Cycle Route.
Among the new candidates to be included in the list are: the old clock of the Dimitar Solunski Temple in Vidin, the city brewery in Lom, the central square with the Diko Iliev fountain in Oryahovo, the ethnographic outdoor exposition in the village of Exarch Yossif, the The Eco-Museum with Aquarium in Ruse, the Black Sea coast in the Cosmos camping area.
If you don’t know yet – the DU Highlights selection has the widest range – it can include religious, historical or architectural sites, museums, natural phenomena, and even food or animals specific to the region where the Dunav Ultra Route runs.
All the sights are part of the identity of the unique journey along the Danube River, crossing Dobrudzha region – all the way to the Black Sea in Bulgaria.
