ANNUAL DUNAV ULTRA CHALLENGE
Every year we organize an international promotional event with the participation of cyclists from Bulgaria, Romania, and more countries.
The 700 km of transition takes the form of a personal challenge with a common cause – popularization of over 110 sparsely populated villages and towns, from where the Dunav Ultra route passes.
The registration categories are in different formations: Solo, Team 2, Team 4.
Each participant or team chooses for how many days to cover the distance and organizes by himself all the necessary logistics: accommodation, food, technical or other support.
All cyclists who have certified the passage through pre-announced Checkpoints and reached the endpoint of the Dunav Ultra route receive a CERTIFICATE.

GLADIATORS ON BIKES 2017
In 2017, the official Dunav Ultra event takes the form of a 530-kilometer cycling race. It’s the only official race event organized along the Dunav Ultra route.

THE BEGINING 2014
On May 2, 2014, three amateur cyclists – Boris Begamov, Petar Zlatkov, and Emil Shukadarov started together in a unique adventure with a common goal – to successfully overcome the 682-km distance from the village of Kudelin to the village of Durankulak by bicycle, within 48 hours. The Dunav Ultra cycling route was born.
